Here you will find animals waiting for space to come into the rescue. These might be animals with thier owners who want to donate to us or feedlot horses we are trying to assist or even government agencies asking us for assistance in placing horses.

Spence is a 16 yr old QH stallion, he is broke to ride but does have Navicular.

Spence is currently located in the Sacramento, CA area.

"Baby" is an 8 yr old flea bitten gray mare. She was abandonded at a boarding stable for 9 months before one of the stable hands was able to get ownership of the mare. Her feet are in need of trim but she has issues with her hind quarters and will not allow her hind feet to be picked up.

Baby was being ridden in a bareback pad and a hackamore prior to being abandonded but since she has been left basicly untouched she does need someone who can remind her of her manors. The rescuer says she is doing better with her ground manners but she does not have the funds to see this mare through rehab.

UPDATE 9/07

Baby is doing great on her ground manners the rescuer is working with her feet. She is still looking for a new home for Baby quick.

Baby is available for foster or adoption. Her adoption fee is negotable at this time.

Baby is currently located in the San Diego, CA area.

Montana is a beautiful reg. paint gelding, he is 8 yrs old and the pic is of him on a camping trip, he also ponies. He does however have cataracts starting to form in his eyes but at this time he is still ride able.

Montana is still with his owner who would like to donate him to the rescue and he is waiting for space to open up. He is available for fostering or adoption.

Molly is a bay 7 yr old Welsh Pony mare, used as a leadline pony saddled with kids only

Molly is available for foster or adoption.

Molly is currently located in the Sacramento CA area.

Tempi is a classy and kind bay TB, 16.1H 19 yr old mare, with training that makes her a superb dressage schoolmaster for a more knowledgeable student. She is blind in one eye from the West Nile vaccine, and has a shortened step in her left hind from an old racetrack injury. The step itself is not a problem, but the compensation for it causes her back to become sore. Saddle fit is critical for her, as well as massage therapy. Jumping and long trail riding are too much for her, but she will gladly teach what she knows in a soft arena.

Tempi is located near Sacramento Ca and is available for foster or adoption

Grandpa Tex is an 8 yr old titled BLM gelding, he stands 14hh and is gray in color. He has had 1 yr of "pro" training by a trainer not suited for this horse. He was being ridden by the trainer but when owner rode him, he bolted. He has great ground manners but is hard to catch.

Grandpa Tex is still with his owner who would like to donate him to the rescue and he is waiting for space to open up. He is available for fostering or adoption.
