Lemon is an excellent naturally bleaching agent. It is naturally exfoliating and is safe. You can use lemon in the following ways to get rid of yellow nails.

  • Wash your hands with a mild soap. Take a fresh lemonsqueeze it into a bowl. You can take two lemons according to your need. Now soak your fingers for 15-20 minutes. You can keep it linger according to your convenience. Wash then with lukewarm water after you’re done and apply some moisturiser.
  • Take a fresh lemon and squeeze it into a bowl. Take a teaspoon of baking soda and mix it with this lemon juice to make smooth thick paste.Apply this paste to your finger nails. Allow it to dry for 15-20 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water and pat then dry.

Repeat this procedure thrice a week.

Toothpaste

Little did you know that toothpaste can help whiten your nails as well. Toothpaste contains peroxide that helps you whiten your teeth and this can be used to whiten your nails as well.

You can apply toothpaste directly on your finger nails. Allow it to dry off completely . This can take anywhere between 15-25 minutes. When it gets dried use an old toothbrush to rub your nails. Wash it with water and apply a good moisturiser.

  • Take some baking soda mix it with olive oil make a smooth paste and apply our on your nails. Let it dry and then use circular motion to rub the paste on your nails and wash it off with water.
